Restoration and Storm Water

JJLA works to find ways to balance new construction with natural systems. In disturbed property the work involves restoration and returning disturbed areas back to functioning ecosystems. This  includes inserting bio-swales and infiltration ponds onto a property to treat storm water runoff .
Restoration efforts include establishment of native plantings in both riparian and upland settings and assisting with permit applications.
JJLA's work with other firms includes brownfield restoration as a team member working closely with engineers and geo-technical consultants to ensure safe reuse of contaminated property.
